This is a log of quotes from articles which show that socialized education is inheritly evil, and cannot be repaired, and that private education is the only solution to America's education crisis. Government must get out of education. Education is not the government's responsibility.
This not a complete list of incidents, but only articles I chance upon and place here. My comments are in brackets.
Limestone teacher loses job Allegedly showed students inappropriate Internet clips; By Holly Hollman, DAILY Staff Writer; firstname.lastname@example.org
ATHENS — During a meeting that lasted about 4½ hours, the Limestone County school board voted to dismiss a teacher accused of showing his students sexually themed Internet videos.
White has been on paid administrative leave since April, when parents and students said he showed his students an animated Internet video about former President Bill Clinton, which included sexual content, and made students say "John Kerry rocks" before they could leave his classroom.
White previously received a letter of reprimand in his personnel file in March for another incident in which he showed students a derogatory Internet film about President Bush..." (source...)

The survey says what? Sexual-orientation questions cause stir at Port high school
===The survey says what? Sexual-orientation questions cause stir at Port high school By TOM KERTSCHER; email@example.com; Posted: May 15, 2006
Port Washington - Parents are angry and school leaders are promising action in response to a "Heterosexual Questionnaire," approved by two teachers, that asked students questions such as: "If you have never slept with someone of your same gender, then how do you know you wouldn't prefer it?"
Hundreds of Port Washington High School students were told to submit written answers and discuss the survey.
The questionnaire was distributed by a student organization, which then led a full class-period discussion. Two teachers approved distribution of the survey. The principal did not.
Parent Lisa Krier on Monday called for the two teachers to be disciplined, saying the survey was a form of sexual harassment by teachers against students.
"If somebody doesn't call them on it, it will continue," she said.
Sophomore Justin Perry said he didn't like being surveyed because he is against homosexuality - although he doesn't think it's something that people should be harassed about.
Perry said he did not understand the point of spending a class period on the survey. "I know it's a survey," he said, "but what is it trying to teach us?"
[What it is trying to teach Perry and his peers is that they just think they are heterosexual, but that if they would just try sodomy they would like it and want to be homosexual.]
12 Boys Accused In Sexual Assault Of Girl, 8 Students Suspended For Rest Of School Year; POSTED: 4:39 pm CDT May 9, 2006; UPDATED: 4:48 pm CDT May 9, 2006
ST. LOUIS -- Twelve boys in the first and second grade at a St. Louis elementary school are accused of sexually assaulting a second-grade girl during recess, authorities said Tuesday.
One teacher who was supposed to be supervising the recess has been fired, and another suspended with pay, St. Louis schools superintendent Creg Williams said. The boys, ages 6 to 8, have been suspended for the rest of the school year. Names of the teachers and students were not released.
The girl, who is 8, is physically OK but will not return to school for the rest of the school year. "We don't know what type of emotional scars it will have on the young lady," Williams said.
"In my mind it's unconscionable that it happened and in my mind people have to be held accountable," Williams said. "How is it this kind of thing is even in the minds of young men?"
The incident happened Friday at Columbia Accelerated Community Educational Center, a school with 400 students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade on the city's north side. (source...)
["How is it this kind of thing is even in the minds of young men?" That question is easily answered. That kind of thinking is caused by humanist sex education classes, which show children what to do and exactly how to do it, but give them a wrong moral system so that they don't understand that sex is only allowed within marriage.]

Police: Elementary Teacher Offered Grades For Sex; POSTED: 4:13 pm EDT May 5, 2005; UPDATED: 12:35 am EDT May 6, 2005
An elementary school teacher in Brevard County, Fla., accused of molesting several students allegedly offered grades or money for sex from boys at the school, according to investigators.
Daniel Cliatt, 29, is accused of offering grades or money for sex from elementary school students.
Daniel Cliatt, 29, was arrested after investigators said he molested a 13-year-old boy four times a week at an after school program at Endeavour Elementary.
The boy told police that Cliatt would show him homosexual pornography videos and then perform sexual acts on him in a classroom, according to an earlier Local 6 News report.
Since police investigated the original case, five other alleged victims have come forward.
One of the victims said that the abuse did not just happen at Endeavour Elementary School but also at Cliatt's house, Local 6 News reported.
Police and school board officials are now looking into whether students who allegedly declined Cliatt's advances suffered academically. (source...)
'The clues were all there' School shooter depicted as deeply disturbed, ignored teen; Ceci Connolly and Dana Hedgpeth, Washington Post; Thursday, March 24, 2005
Redlake, Minn. -- Two days after a shooting rampage on the Indian reservation here left 10 dead, friends, relatives and neighbors of Jeff Weise -- the 16-year- old assailant -- began to sketch a portrait of a deeply disturbed youth who had been treated for depression in a psychiatric ward, lost several close family members, sketched gruesome scenes of armed warriors and was removed from the school where he gunned down most of his victims Monday.
He was taking the antidepressant Prozac and at least once was hospitalized for suicidal tendencies, said Gayle Downwind, a cultural coordinator at Red Lake Middle School, who taught Weise. (source...)
[Prozac has been linked to many violent crimes, yet public schools continue to force children to use it---often against their parents will. Why? Because Prozac is the humanist/atheist substitute for spanking. Proverbs 13:24 tells the truth, "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes." Humanist methods of discipline are actually the ultimate child abuse. You can't get much more abused than dead."]

Hundreds of Teachers Caught Cheating; Saturday, July 10, 2004
LOS ANGELES — Some say high-stakes testing is to blame for cheating in the classroom. But in this case, it's not the students getting caught — it's the teachers.
A recent study shows as many as 200 teachers in California were caught cheating to help their students perform better on rigorous new standardized tests, which are part of the President Bush's "No Child Left Behind (search)" education plan, which calls for greater accountability among teachers.
Since the law was implemented, more teachers have been caught helping students cheat in about a dozen states around the country. (source...)
[Cheating is simply humanist/socialist/atheist ethics in practice. if "the only absolute is that there are no absolutes" as humanists teach, then it cannot be said that cheating is absolutely wrong. But if there are no absolutes, then it must not be absolutely true that cheating is not absolutely wrong. Therefore cheating is absolutely wrong!]
Teacher charged with having sex with 14-year-old student; Tuesday, June 29, 2004 Posted: 11:51 AM EDT (1551 GMT)
TAMPA, Florida (AP) -- A 23-year-old middle-school teacher was charged with having sex with a 14-year-old student in a classroom, at her apartment and, once, in a vehicle while the teen's 15-year-old cousin drove.
Detectives said that the cousins provided matching statements incriminating Debra Beasley Lafave and that the 14-year-old described Lafave's apartment and her tattoos and birthmarks.
The boy told detectives that Lafave told him that her months-old marriage was in trouble and that she was attracted to him because having sex with him was not allowed. (source...)

Fla. Woman Charged With Sexual Relationship With 11-Year-Old; Police: Relationship Last For 19 Months; POSTED: 6:12 AM EST January 8, 2004; UPDATED: 11:55 AM EST January 8, 2004
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A 49-year-old music teacher has been charged with having a sexual relationship with a boy she first seduced when he was 11 years old, authorities said.
Carol Flannigan, a teacher at Rolling Green Elementary in Boynton Beach, was arrested Wednesday on six charges, including two counts of capital sexual battery on a child under 12. Authorities said the relationship lasted for 19 months.
[Public education is based on socialism, which is the idea that it is ok for government to rob certain groups of people to help other groups of people. Socialism springs from atheism. Wicked people are rewarded by such a system, so it is not surprising that there are many instances of teachers abusing their power over students.]
Police: Teacher Sucked On Student's Toes; High School Teacher Accused Of Sexual Assault; POSTED: 6:36 PM PST; February 3, 2004; UPDATED: 6:46 PM PST February 3, 2004
MERCED, Calif. -- A Central Valley high school teacher has been arrested, accused of molesting students on school grounds.
Jesus Rivera, a drama and Spanish teacher at Golden Valley High School in Merced, appeared in court Tuesday. He is charged with sexually assaulting four students. Rivera pleaded not guilty.
Rivera also faces misdemeanor charges on suspicion of annoying or molesting children in incidents dating back to 2002.
"Jan. 12, a student came in to see me right after lunch time and shared with me some concerns that he was feeling about, some things that had happened between him and a teacher," said Golden Valley High School principal Ralf Swenson.
All of the alleged victims were teenage boys between the ages of 14 and 17 at time of the suspected incidents, according to Merced Police Detective Rod Dash, who is investigating the case. At least three of the alleged victims said they were molested on campus. And a fourth alleged victim said a molestation took place at Rivera's home.
Investigators said there is evidence that strange behavior took place at the drama building after hours.
"One of the more bizarre incidents that took place was he actually sucked on the toes of a student on campus," said Merced Police Department spokesman Rod Dash. (source...)
